I knew that my intentions for this year, “prosperity and community”, would include participation. I’m enjoying the Salem community very much. But now I’m adjusting to letting more be seen, realizing community is now so much larger. By opening up my door, everything’s come rushing through it! Especially with diving headfirst back into social media again. I’m re-learning video editing, figuring out video/reels, timing, algorithms, what seems to work, what mysteriously doesn’t

Seasons...some are filled with community involvement: bustling studios, teaching, art exhibitions, and conversations. Others are quieter times when things feel out of control and the work changes in ways that aren't as visible. Looking back, I realize that while I seldom felt like I had much to contribute publicly, I wasn't standing still.
