About Wovenpaint
Wovenpaint studio is where Gwyn always enjoys sharing her skills and knowledge as a creative artist. And-as an educator/mentor engaging with the community, she inspires students of all ages to realize their own creative potential. 2016-2017: Gwyn was selected by the Trustees of Reservations as the first artist-in residence at Gov. Ames Park, Easton, MA. Wovenpaint Studio thrived there through summer days filled with creating art, offering demos, etc.-while interacting with park visitors Summer 2019: Gwyn joined the Weaving & Book Arts staff at Bucks Rock Arts Camp, New Milford, CT as an educator. Working alongside other artists and creatives, she guided many happy campers along their artistic journey. Fall 2019: Gwyn received word that she'd been selected by the city of Salem, MA as (their first) Public Artist in Residence, providing opportunity to bring Wovenpaint Studio to Artists Row for the 2020 season, However, the season was cancelled due to pandemic conditions. Currently, Gwyn continues to enjoy making lots of art and looks forward to more Wovenpaint adventures ...in whatever form they take.
